It has been some time since my last post but I’ve returned just as the weather becomes bleak and miserable here in the UK :( But on the bright side I have been eyeing up some must have Fall/Autumn items which I couldn’t resist to share. Cut out boots are a growing trend this AW13 with celebrities and fashion bloggers giving us a taster of what is to come. I have become a big fan of velvet recently so I’m hoping to see more velvet skirts and dresses this AW.
I am sure they are not everyones ideal pair of boots for the time of year but depending on the weather, a pair of tights or thick socks will stop any risk of frostbite.. ( Rain however could be out of the question)
I personally have absolutely fallen in love with these cut out boots, which will defiantly be on my wish list of things to buy in the next month. Because of my undying love for these beauties, I thought of nothing better than sharing with where you can get these babies from and the variations in designs, such as the buckles and heel.
The price range of the boots that I have picked does vary from the higher end brands ,to high street buys and too good to miss bargains but whatever budget there is a pair out there for you. Personally I love the pair I found on eBay they are very similar to the Jeffrey Campbell design but at a fraction of the price.
I hope to be posting more of my favourite finds, monthly favourite products I have been using and my monthly wishlists on my blog. This week I will be blogging about my essentials for going back to uni as I will be going into my third year at the end of this month. Until then :)
Hurts - Somebody to Die For. Ahh man I would love to go see them
Today I thought I would share a song that I have been listening to quite a lot this month, Lana Del Rey’s cover of Chelsea Hotel No 2 which is originally a Leonard Cohen song but this is far the best cover I have heard plus I would listen to Lana all day.
I’m really glad that she is being noticed more for her music but if you haven’t you have got to check this out. Another song of Lana’s I have been hooked on again is summertime sadness as well as Young and Beautiful that is on The Great Gatsby Soundtrack which is also Amazing!
It really a shame that this cover is not available to download because streaming this is using so much of my data allowance, I hope they do release it because it’s a beautiful song.
I will be sharing music that I am currently enjoying each month, If there are any songs that you think I would please contact me, I’m always looking for new music and hidden gems
These Minis from Umberto Giannini have remained in their original packaging unloved for quite some time until now. As I seem to hoard so many product miniatures I thought it was time to use up some unused products and give my overloaded draws a break.
Currently I am trying to restore my hair after a heck of a lot of hair abuse so personally this range has not done a great deal for my hair, I have had to use A LOT more product to get the same results as shampoos and conditioners I have used before. The amount of product I use as well as the amount of lather from a shampoo is something which highlights whether the product is good or not. I find if I am having to use tones of product for your hair to feel clean and refreshed it’s a no no for me.
These minis are 75ml and no lie I used nearly all the bottle in one wash. I understand that this range is supposed to be gentle but my hair is not long as it is just below the shoulder so washing should not of been a battle (I ended up grabbing in another brand of shampoo and starting again) The conditioner was also disappointing as my hair did not feel very soft nor hydrated.
Umberto’s Instant beauty Makeover Spray on the other hand did rehydrate my hair but it is not something I would say is a leave in conditioner, if anything it gives hair more life in-between washes and is not as moisturising as similar products.
Umberto Glannini’s best ranges from what I have used so far are most defiantly the Glam hair and Incredible Body. Of course hair products results really do depend on the condition of your hair and your personal hair needs but for me this range was not as good as I anticipated. If you have used this range I would be interested to know if you have had the same experience with the range and which Umberto products you think are best if any.
Thanks for reading, TTFN
So I was looking on Romwe.com and I have noticed in the past few months an increase in The Simpsons items. Firstly the Bart shorts available in Dark and light Jean were available and sold out pretty quick, They are now available again but for how long who knows.
If you love The Simpsons and particular Bart you will love Romwe’s collection of shorts, leggings, T-shirts, Shirts and accessories. Since seeing Romwe’s Simpsons apparel grow I have also noticed that a lot of bloggers and Youtubers have gone Barting bad, I mean I think they are really fun items but I think personally I would have to pick between the Shirt or the shorts. Although I love all the Jean collection, To have more than one piece of clothing with Simpsons characters on them, I think would make them less unique. But that’s just me.

If you have any Simpsons Apparel I would love to see how they are being styled, as well as what you think of the collection.
This is a later post then I was hoping due to misplacing my laptop cable, but never mind it is here!
So I thought I would share my favourite products of June. I have quite a few products that I have really liked using this month, some of which at first I wasn’t keen on at first but they won me over!
1. MAC Lipstick-Please Me
I am in love with this shade and have been for the past month, It is a creamy matte pink, As I have fair skin and not very daring with my lip colours as of yet this light rosy pink colour helps bring colour to my face especially when I don’t foundation and powder on. The more I used it I come to notice a slight sheen to the product but still subtle to make it a matte. So I would say it is a semi-Matte. I am slowly building my Lipstick collection but this one is one I keep going back to the most out of my pink shades.
2. MUA Undress Your Skin Foundation - Porcelain
I had never used MUA foundation until now, I kind of bought it thinking it’s cheap it’s not going to give me full coverage but I will give it a try as I like trying out new things. Having a lot of red tones in my skin I always try to find a foundation which has a creamy consistency as they always cover my redness well Although this is a much lighter coverage to what I’m used to ( My holy grail foundations being MAC Studio Sculpt in NC15 and Vichy Dermablend )I was surprised at how well it kept the redness under wraps.
